Kendall Jenner follows in sister Kim Kardashian's footsteps by tweeting bikini shots

Her older sister Kim Kardashian regularly delights her 15.9million Twitter followers by posting sexy, bikini photos online.

So its not surprise to see her younger siblings have also become fans of uploading self-portraits on social-networking sites.

Despite being only 16, Kim's half-sister Kendall Jenner has been posting photos of her model figure in a bikini on her Instagram page.

Enjoying a day at the beach with one of her best friends Madeleine Johnson, Kendall posted a revealing bikini shot of the pair of them on her Instagram, which has over 2.4million followers.

Captioning the photo, she wrote: 'kendallnjenner sporting the @mikohswimwear with @maddyjohnsonn.'

On Sunday, Kendall and her younger sister Kylie were arguing over who had the better Instagram account.

Maybe Kendall's decision to post bikini photos was a way of trying to win over more fans than her younger sibling.

Meanwhile, Kendall has announced she will be making her acting debut in Hawaii 5-0.

She wrote on her blog last week: 'I am SO excited to reveal to you all that I am going to be making my acting debut on Hawaii Five-O!!

Kendall posted another bikini photo on her Instagram on August 14

 'My episode will air in October this year and I can’t wait to get started on filming.

'This is such an incredible opportunity for me and I’m excited for this new experience!!!'

The series, which stars Alex O’Loughlin, Scott Caan, Daniel Dae Kim and Grace Park will return to TV in the U.S. on September 24.
