Mumbai: Actor Salman Khan was prohibited from entering Lilavati Hospital when he went to visit ailing actor Rajesh Khanna recently.

The actor who is famous for never adhering to time was shown the door by hospital management as the actor came after the visiting hours were over.
Ailing star Rajesh Khanna was admitted to the hospital due to exhaustion and weakness. Salman wanted to pay him a visit but the strict management of Lilavati Hospital did not oblige the star.

In spite of his star status, the actor could not convince the authorities to allow him to meet Khanna. A disappointed Khan had to go back without meeting ‘Kaka’.

Tables Turned on Tom: Katie Holmes Shocks Him Like He Surprised Nicole Kidman

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes
For Tom Cruise, the shoe is finally on the other foot.

Cruise's publicist said the actor was "deeply saddened" by Katie Holmes' divorce filing this week, and a source close to the "Rock of Ages" star told ABC News that Holmes' decision came as a "complete surprise."

33 The Magic Number For Cruise?

Curiously all of Cruise's marriages ended when his ex-wives were 33 years old.

The previous times Cruise has gotten divorced, he was in control. He filed for divorce from actress Mimi Rogers in January 1990 after three years of marriage. She seemed to get over it quickly. In October 1990, she told the Associated Press, "As far as I know, we're divorced, but I've been so busy on this new film that I haven't had time to check, so I'm not sure. I bet that sounds pretty silly, huh?"

Later on, she seemed to loathe the fact that she was ever married to the mega movie star.

''[I'm] waiting for the moment when I don't have to talk about that [blankety-blank] name anymore," she told People magazine in 1995.

Cruise filed for divorce from his second wife, Nicole Kidman, in February 2001 after she miscarried their baby (they had previously adopted two children). He dropped the bomb less than two months after they renewed their vows on their 10-year anniversary, Christmas Eve 2000.

Kidman broke down on Oprah Winfrey's talk show in May 2001, calling the situation a "nightmare."

"I think that divorce is hard for anyone. It's a nightmare, it just is, and you can pretend you're fine," she said. "And days you're great [and] days you're not great."

In a written response to a divorce petition filed by Cruise on the grounds of irreconcilable differences, Kidman said she was stunned when he told her that he no longer wanted to be married, and allegedly begged him to stay and seek marriage counseling. He refused and left for good, according to her response.

When asked by Winfrey whether she thought she would always be married, Kidman timidly replied, "Yeah."

"I've had a blessed life," she said. "I've always thought [if] something bad is going to happen, something bad is going to happen. But then something really bad happened. A number of really bad things happened. You go, 'I'm dealing with it. I'm stronger than I thought.'"

Kidman is now happily married to country singer Keith Urban. They have two children together.

Given how adoringly Cruise has spoken about Holmes throughout their relationship -- he told the May issue of Playboy, "I'm just happy, and I have been since the moment I met her" -- he may take a while to get back to his eccentric, couch-jumping self. But the last time this happened, his first ex-wife voiced her confidence in Mr. Mission Impossible's ability to rebound.

"Tom is very strong -- he handles stress," Rogers told People magazine in 2001. "He's human. He has a temper. He blows up sometimes, whatever, but it's not like he can't deal with it."

The first trailer of Sunny Leone's Jism 2 gets a thumbs up from fans

If you were holding your breath for Sunny Leone's Jism 2 trailer, it's been released on Twitter as promised by director Pooja Bhatt.

Pooja had decided to release all trailers, promos and songs from her film after the Censor Board handed an A certificate to the film's firsttrailer.

The first trailer is what one would imagine to be typical Sunny Leone style - sensual and overtly sexy.

Sunny will be romancing Yeh Saali Zindagi actor Arunoday Singh and Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster's Randeep Hooda.

The first trailer has already got a thumbs up from the fans:

Watch the Trailer Here:

Where have Kareena's cheeks gone?

This is Kareena Kapoor at Mumbai airport. Unless she's experimenting with an extreme version of a pout, Bebo's cheeks seem to have disappeared completely. The hollows of her cheeks look totally sunken in, and it looks like she's catching the trout lips syndrome, currently afflicting many Hollywood heroines including Lindsay Lohan.

Kareena, who was known for having curves in all the right places when she first started out in Bollywood, suddenly dropped to a size zero when shooting for Tashan (2008). Watching Kareena's weight soon became something of a national pastime.

And just when she looked like she was headed back to her old bootilicious self - notably, in RA.One, gyrating to Chammak Challo in a slinky red sari - up popped the size zero question again. Fat is not sexy, she declared recently. Thin is every girl's dream, she added for good measure.

But Is Bebo taking her thin obsession too far? We understand she wants to look her radiant best at her October 16 wedding to fiancé Saif Ali Khan, but we can't believe even Kareena's going to like what she sees in this photo.

Is Kristen Stewart or Nina Dobrev the Sexier Vampire?

Kristen Stewart plays a vampire in the upcoming Breaking Dawn Part 2—due out in November—and Nina Dobrev is a vampire on the television drama The Vampire Diaries. Which of these two actors makes the sexier vampire?

According to a report from Hollywood Life, Kristen is the every-popular Bella Swan in the Twilight series of films, and now she's a bona fide vampire, too. She and husband Edward Cullen, played by her real-life boyfriend Robert Pattinson, have a little girl named Renesmee, so sexy takes on a whole new meaning for her now.

Nina plays a dual role on The Vampire Diaries, and she, too, plays alongside her real-life boyfriend Ian Somerhalder. As Elena Gilbert she is the love interest of two vampires who are brothers—one of whom is Somerhalder—and as Katherine Pierce she portrays someone the brothers once loved a long time ago, namely in the 19th century.

You can check out a few shots of both Kristen Stewart and Nina Dobrev by clicking on the Hollywood Life link above.

So which actor do you think makes the sexier vampire? Would you vote for Nina Dobrev or for Kristen Stewart? And no, Robert Pattinson and Ian Somerhalder's votes don't count!

Blake Lively felt scared filming `very intense` sex Scenes

Washington: Blake Lively has revealed that she was “very scared” shooting sex scenes with Taylor Kitsch and Aaron Johnson in forthcoming crime-thriller ‘Savages.’

The 24-year-old actress had to film threesome scenes on the trio’s very first day of shooting drug thriller ‘Savages’ - written by Oliver Stone - and while she found it “very intense,” the blonde beauty was pleased to complete the erotic parts of the movie first because she bonded with the actors immediately.

“They were very intense and very scary and we shot them on the first day and I mean if you don’t feel comfortable with a person after that it’s going to be a long road,” Contactmusic quoted her as telling Hollywood Life.

“It was lucky that we got to do that first ultimately because we really bonded,” she said.

She admits the movie, which tells the story of marijuana growers Chon (Taylor) and Ben (Aaron) battling a Mexican drug cartel who have kidnapped their shared girlfriend O (Blake), has some frightening scenes, but she found it an “exciting challenge” to film.

“The content is something that’s really scary, you know especially someone who’s so close with their family and has a very young audience.

“But to do something this violent, this graphic, this racy is something that’s scary but also it was such an exciting challenge.

“When you hear these people and hear that it’s their real life story, it gives you such a responsibility to do it well and do it right,” she added.

Sunny Leone's hot 'Jism 2' promos only on internet

Pooja Bhatt's statement on Jism 2 promos being censored with an 'A' certificate... 3 songs will be shown on TV and 3 songs which have adult content will be shown only on the net and social media.

Like I have inherited my genetic disposition,my face,my body, I have also inherited this supposed 'culture' that we all brandish and use like the most lethal weapon. I accept the limitations of my mind and body don't I ?

So I have to come to terms with this truth that the state will do everything in their power to 'control' and 'manipulate' to maintain a status quo while talking about the artists rights and freedom of speech etc.

But I refuse to point at a finger at the Censor board while conveniently forgetting that four of those fingers point squarely back at my mostly schizophrenic community, the film Industry that has no 'stand' of their own. I look around and am appalled by 'adult' film-makers who wish to then worm their way onto a prime-time family slot and want to with an amputated, watered down version of their original film, now pathetically try to sell their wares to the very audience they first claimed they were not interested in.

So am I upset with the Censor board? No! I thank them for creating this road-block with the Jism2 first look promo as it forced me, my music company and marketing team to re-think our archaic way of promoting films.

“Irreverence is our only sacred cow.” it is said and that is why I have decided to NOT promote songs of Jism2 where I simply cannot tone down the sexual content on television to an unsuspecting public. I will instead release it exclusively on the internet and social media where my core audience of thinking, passionate ADULTS can CHOOSE to view it,like it or reject it.

But yes what we do need is clarity. A clear set of directives which make crystal clear without prejudice what each film-maker must follow in order to obtain a U, U/A or A certificate. the problem today is that there is none of that and that lack of clarity is creating chaos and frustration. Those emotions are poison to any living goal.

Katy Perry: I'm in a modern fairytale, but now I know I don't need Prince Charming

As I’m ushered in to see Katy Perry, I’m expecting the usual Hollywood outrage if I dare ask about the emotional rollercoaster that’s hurt her so badly.

Her estranged husband, comic Russell Brand, blew his top when TV host Graham Norton brought up the impending divorce.

But despite Katy’s PR people hovering near us in her Los Angeles hotel suite, the pop princess nods sadly when I say she must have been through hell.

Katy, 27, clearly isn’t your typical image-controlled superstar, and she opens up when I ask her what she has learnt from the past year when she had to cope with that very public marriage split.

“I’ve learnt I’m in a very modern fairytale,” she replies after a moment’s thought. “But I also know I don’t need the Prince Charming to have a happy ending. I can make the happy ending myself.”

Then, knowing I’m from London like her ex, she adds with a wink: “But I still like London boys… except one.”

Katy’s honesty also shines through in her new 3D documentary, Katy Perry: Part of Me. Made by British film-maker Dan Cutforth and New Yorker Jane Lipsitz, it follows Katy over the course of a year when she had phenomenal success with hits such as Last Friday Night (TGIF).

Her album, Teenage Dream, became only the second, after Michael Jackson’s Bad, to produce five US No1 singles and her California Dreams tour featured 124 arena shows across the US, Europe, South America and the Far East.

But the 300 hours of footage shot over the year also show her curled-up, crying and barely able to move as the emotional pain hit home when Russell filed for divorce.

In one heart-rending scene, Katy is in pieces backstage at a gig in Sao Paulo – but somehow slaps a smile on her face and performs.

“I could feel the energy and support from my fans,” she said.

“Just before I started a song, they kept saying in Portuguese, ‘Katy, we love you’ and I felt comforted by that.

“Watching it in the edit suite later I was saying, ‘This is OK’.

“I’d just needed a shoulder to help me walk up the steps. I had to bend over so my false eyelashes didn’t come off.

“I couldn’t let the tears stream because it would ruin the make-up.

“But I got through it. I’ve learnt a lot and am moving forward one step at a time.

“It was a year I’ll never be able to recreate. It had amazing highs and some big lows, but that’s life.

“Everyone goes through the good and the bad and it makes you stronger. But my ultimate goal is to make people smile.”

It’s difficult not to smile when talking with Katy. She has an infectiously bubbly personality and laughs a lot. But she is also wise beyond her years.

The singer, famed for outrageous costumes, is wearing a white sequinned dress and her long, dark hair is tinged with purple.

She has a tattoo on her inner wrist that says in Sanskrit “Go with the flow”.
Katy is an intriguing blend of sexy and innocent. Yet she is the daughter of two devout Christian ministers who kept a strict household and did not allow any music in the house other than gospel.

Katy learnt to play guitar and sang wherever and whenever she could.

She said: “When I was 13 I’d sing on the corner at open air markets and put my guitar case out.

“People weren’t sitting listening, they were just passing so there wasn’t a lot to be nervous about and I’d make maybe 10 dollars. It was a nice way to start.”

She released a Christian pop album under her real name of Katy Hudson but it only sold around 100 copies.

Then she landed a contract with Capitol Records, shedding her Christian roots and good-girl image and zooming to the top of the charts in 2008 with the album One of the Boys, which featured the cheeky single I Kissed a Girl.

She dated several musicians, including Travie McCoy, of Gym Class Heroes, before meeting Brand while filming a cameo for comedy film Get Him to the Greek, which the comedian, 37, was starring in.

They were reunited at the MTV Video Music Awards and announced their engagement in January 2010 after a four-month courtship. They married in the October but he filed for divorce 14 months later, citing irreconcilable differences.

The marriage had started to crumble while she was on her year-long tour.

Katy says she tried her hardest to keep the relationship going, adding: “Being in love is the dream.

“But the reality of making it work is not like the movies.”

She also recently said: “I really wish I had more time to be cuddled right now, but I don’t. And I am very particular.”

Katy tells me that watching the two-hour film was strange and uncomfortable.

She said: “There were things that made my tummy turn when I saw them because I had already lived them and really didn’t want to live them again. But I thought maybe if I showed I got through the problems, other people wouldn’t feel so alone in their problems.

“It was important to leave some of the more difficult things in the film so it wasn’t a narcissistic film about how great I am. Because I’m not all great.

“We all feel our problems are unique but we all go through a lot of the same things and it’s not about the problem, it’s about how you solve it.

“So the whole movie is about me overcoming obstacles, my upbringing, the guys in suits from the record labels and then my personal struggle – going through it and landing on my feet.

“The message is pretty simple — it’s ‘be yourself and you can be anything’.”

If you’re Katy, being yourself is a combination of fun and hard work.

“I like to have fun and get crazy but I do that in my private time,” she said.

She is also working on starting a record label, writing songs, planning an album and promoting the film.

“What holds me up is focus, determination and an incredible ambition that hasn’t subsided yet,” she added.

“I know I have been given something great and I have a certain responsibility so I try to keep a moral compass about me in everything that I do.
I ask the karma gods if this is going to turn me into something hideous, or if it’s going to be good for me.

“It’s been a long journey of learning, tolerance and acceptance because I’ve met different people and travelled a lot and educated myself instead of wandering around aimless and ignorant. I hope to evolve every day and be a better version of who I was yesterday.”

Despite the heartache, Katy says that she is still a romantic and hopes to have a family.

“I want to be a mother but now’s not the right time,” she revealed.

“A baby can’t have a baby, and I’m still a baby.”

When I ask if she is afraid of falling in love again, she says: “No, absolutely not. I’m excited for the future, whatever it brings. I still believe in love, most definitely.”

Jennifer Lopez tops list of perfume makers

Los Angeles: Singer Jennifer Lopez has topped a list of making the most profitable range of perfumes, earning $80 million out of it.

The singer banked the amount from her range of 18 perfumes that she released in the past 10 years, reports contactmusic.com.

The 42-year-old defeated actress Sarah Jessica Parker and singer Madonna.

Singer Britney Spears` range which includes `Believe` and `Fantasy` was the fourth largest selling range. Singer Avril Lavigne came fifth, reports online beauty products retailer Escentual.com.

The company`s founder Rakesh Aggarwal said Lopez`s role as judge in "America Idol" helped her raise the sales.

"JLo remains the queen of the scent industry. I am sure starring on `American Idol` with Simon Cowell has helped sales. The celebrity perfume market is massive and fashion can change very quickly, sometimes literally overnight," Aggarwal said.

Prince Charles left to count £720,000 cost of Kate Middleton

Prince Charles received an extra £232,000 from the taxpayer last year, but also saw his own costs rise following the addition of Kate Middleton to the Royal Family, official accounts have revealed.
Charles and Camilla covered almost 48,000 miles to and from official engagements

The amount the Prince of Wales received in grants-in-aid and money from government departments rose from £1,962,000 to £2,194,000 in 2011-12 – an 11.8 per cent increase.

However, his own outgoings increased by £721,000, with the costs of the royal wedding and his daughter-in-law’s wardrobe making a dent in his wallet.

The figures, published by Clarence House, list the prince’s total income and expenditure for the last financial year.

Although they do not outline the cost of William’s and Kate’s wedding in April last year, it is believed the cost of the dress, flowers, food and hotel bills was split between the prince, the Queen and the Middleton family with the total bill amounting to less than £500,000.

Kate’s clothing costs were also not listed, coming instead under the broad heading of “expenditure for official duties and charitable activities”. Spending on this rose by nearly £400,000, from £9,444,000 to £9,831,000.

Charles pays for much of the public work of sons William and Harry, and wife Camilla, through his private Duchy of Cornwall income. The income from this landed estate rose by 3 per cent to £18.3 million.

Official travel, which is paid for with taxpayers’ cash through grants-in-aid – along with communications and the upkeep of royal residences – rose a massive 22 per cent. A spokesman for Clarence House said there were a number of reasons.

“The increase was due to several factors, including more overseas visits by the prince and the duchess, more overseas visits by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and by Prince Harry, longer distances travelled during those visits, and the inclusion in the latest financial year of part of the costs of a spring tour in 2011 to Portugal, Spain and Morocco.”

During the last financial year, Charles and Camilla travelled almost 48,000 miles to and from official engagements at home and abroad. They toured Norway, Sweden and Denmark in March, and last autumn visited South Africa and Tanzania while Charles visited Kuwait and Qatar.

William and Kate embarked on their first tour as a married couple last summer, visiting Canada, while Harry carried out a Diamond Jubilee tour to the Caribbean in March.

This led to an increased carbon footprint for the eco-conscious prince with CO2 emissions for overseas travel up from 438 tonnes to 1,206 tonnes, almost a threefold increase.

The accounts showed that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and Prince Harry, have the equivalent of nine full-time staff, up from 7.8 the previous financial year.

Graham Smith, chief executive of the campaigning group Republic, commented: “At a time when the country is facing sweeping cuts to public spending, Charles Windsor wilfully helps himself to whatever travel funds he wants or feel he needs.”

'Avengers' is the big box office hit

Superhero mash-up brings in more than $600M
The audiences are proving far more unpredictable than the movies Hollywood has created to pack them into theatres this summer.

Studios have released a familiar assortment of action tales, family flicks and star driven comedies since the summer-blockbuster season began in early May.

However, while overall business has been solid, fans have been choosier than usual, spending a fortune on one superhero sensation, kicking in for a handful of midline hits and generally bypassing everything else.

Movies featuring box-office heavyweights Johnny Depp (Dark Shadows), Tom Cruise (Rock of Ages) and Adam Sandler (That's My Boy) fell flat, as did the action spectacle Battleship.

Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones pulled in fair crowds for Men in Black 3, though the action comedy played to a smaller audience than its predecessors. The animated tales Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted and Brave joined the action adventures Snow White & the Huntsman and Prometheus as $100 million hits.

But a summer that looked like an easy record-breaker at the start really can be summed up in two words: The Avengers. With $600 million domestically, the Marvel Comics superhero mash-up accounts for a third of Hollywood's summer revenues, taking in more than the rest of the season's top-five movies combined.

The Avengers continues a trend in which a few big movies suck up a greater portion of moviegoers' money as studios focus on their so-called tent-pole releases, franchise films that cost a fortune to make but pay off like billion-dollar jackpots when they work.

But The Avengers has made this summer more lop-sided than ever, and with two more colossal superhero films coming in July - The Amazing Spider-Man and The Dark Knight Rises - the season could end up with three towering tent-poles and a whole lot of tadpoles down below.

"I don't know that I've ever seen a summer so top-heavy," said Paul Dergarabedian, analyst for box-office tracker Hollywood.com. "I think we're going to have Avengers, Dark Knight and Spider-Man being the big, big movies of summer with a lot of other movies really bringing up the rear, like way behind.

"They can't all be home runs, but you need solid doubles and triples, and we haven't seen that many of those so far." Hollywood went on a box-office tear the first four months of this year, with revenues running as much as 20% ahead of 2011's on the strength of such pre-summer hits as The Hunger Games, Dr. Seuss' the Lorax, 21 Jump Street, Safe House and The Vow.

After The Avengers opened with a recordbreaking $207 million weekend domestically, the ensemble film featuring Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson and Samuel L. Jackson kept on filling theatre seats while other big releases came and went with barely a ripple.

No SRK-Salman encounter at Esha's wedding: Disaster averted?

A close encounter between the two warring Khans, Shah Rukh and Salman, seems to have been fortuitously averted. Esha Deol's June 29 wedding to fiancé Bharat Takhtani could have been the meeting ground for SRK and Salman who famously and violently fell out at Salman's ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif's birthday party in 2008.

Salman, who skipped Esha's sangeet and mehendi ceremonies held on June 25 and June 27 respectively, is shooting for Dabangg 2 in Mumbai and is expected to attend the wedding and the reception next day.

SRK, on the other hand, is currently in London where he's on a working holiday, shooting for Yash Raj Films' Ye Kahan Aa Gaye Hum and putting in some family time with Gauri and the children.

Both Khans have old connections with Esha Deol's mother, actress Hema Malini. She's a longtime friend of Salman's family. Salman's father, Salim Khan, wrote Sholay, on the sets of which the Hema-Dharmendra romance blossomed.

Salman made up for his absence at Esha's pre-wedding ceremonies by assigning his trusted bodyguard Shera to oversee security and other arrangements.
And Shah Rukh? Way back when he was still best known as Abhimanyu Rai from TV serial Fauji, it was Hema Malini who gave the King his first break in Bollywood by casting him in her directorial debut Dil Aashna Hai.

If he'd been in town, SRK would almost certainly have put in appearance at Esha's wedding celebrations. And bumped into Salman.

And there's no knowing what would have followed.

Kate Middleton, Prince William Baby Names Revealed?

As reports heat up that Kate Middleton and Prince William are on the verge of welcoming their first child, clear frontrunners are emerging from punters wanting to earn money from guessing the offspring's name.

And according to Paddy Power, the unisex name Frances is the top contender.

Of course, whether or not Kate and Will will base their decision on Paddy Power's suggestions is something we somewhat doubt... but it can't hurt to speculate right?

Other than Frances (5/1), the site's top picks are Charles for a boy, after the grandfather-to-be (6/1), and Diana, after William's late mother (8/1).

For boys, other favourites include George (10/1), Louis (14/1) and Richard (14/1); whilst female picks are Carole, after Kate's mother (16/1), Anne, after the Princess Royal (10/1) and Mary (16/1).

If you fancy taking a risk on a long shot, the company offers odds of 1000/1 that Brooklyn will be chosen, 500/1 that it'll be Peaches, and 500/1 for the exceptional Frogmella.

Even Fergie is a cheeky tip at 250/1.

Kate Middleton charms Brad Pitt as actor snaps up Royal portrait

Even the Hollywood actor has fallen under the Duchess’s spell, shelling out thousands on a portrait of William and Kate on the day of their engagement.
Say cheese: The portrait Brad Pitt is thought to have snapped up is based on this engagement photo of Kate and William
Kate Middleton has charmed the public, the Royals, and now Hollywood Royalty too it seems, after Brad Pitt paid thousands of pounds to snap up a portrait of the Duchess.

According to reports, Oceans Eleven star Brad fell in love with a stencil on canvas version of the famous engagement portrait of Kate and Prince William’s, and decided he had to have the piece of art in his collection.

The movie star is believed to have paid thousands to secure the black and white portrait, created by Islington graffiti artist Bambi, which shows the couple smiling for the cameras with their arms linked, with the words ‘A bit like Marmite’ scrawled over the front.

Acording to artlyst, the portrait, which had been on show at a gallery at the corner of Offord Road and Liverpool Road, Barnsbury, had become a big hit with tourists, who have fallen in love with Wills and Kate, now known as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

And it seems Brad just had to have the piece for his collection to add to one of his many homes around the globe.

As well as snap up the Kate and William portrait, Brad also reportedly bought an image of Queen Elizabeth, as well as one of the late R&B/soul star Amy Winehouse.

And they didn’t come cheap, with “serious art collector” Brad reported to have paid £60,000 for the three pieces.

Earlier this year it emerged that Brad and Angelina fell in love with Kate and William’s stunning Royal Wedding, and are said to be taking inspiration from it for their very own wedding later this year.

The Hollywood pair – Angelina in particular – are said to be “fascinated” by the couple and although will be having a much smaller, more private affair, would like to incorporate some themes from the Royal wedding into their own nuptials.

A source told Star magazine: “Angie is fascinated by Kate, and like the rest of the world she fell in love with her and William when she watched their wedding on TV with Brad and the kids.

“She would never make her own wedding public and wants a private event on a much smaller scale. But she loved the Britishness of Kate and William’s big day and wants to incorporate some of those very traditional elements into her own ceremony.”

Freida romances Batman

Tree Of Life director Terrence Mallik has cast Freida Pinto in his next project, Knight Of Cups, along with Batman actor Christian Bale.

A source reveals that the story is about a man in search of love and truth, and that Mallik watched all of Pinto's previous films before casting her in the project. The source says, "Freida and Christian broke the ice immediately. They have casually bumped into each other at Hollywood events in the past, but never worked together. During the shoot they were quite playful and flirty."

The film also stars Oscar winners Natalie Portman and Cate Blanchett.

Haunted by Jagan, Chiranjeevi meets Sonia to save Cong in AP

Hyderabad/New Delhi : It seems that Jaganmohan Reddy has become a headache for Congress and its allies in Andhra Pradesh. After Chief Minister Kiran Kumar, now Chiranjeevi reached New Delhi to meet the President of the party - Sonia Gandhi.

The actor turned politician, whose Praja Rajyam Party merged with Congress recently, reportedly expressed his concern about growing tension in the state. After the poll debacle, Chiranjeevi is reported to have complained about the attitude of many Congress leaders which might be one of the reasons which helped Jagan to win the election.

During the recently held by-poll elections in the state, Congress lost the Tirupati assembly seat which was held by Chiranjeevi.

However, after his meeting with Mrs Gandhi at 10 Janapath in the national capital on Wednesday, Jun 27, Chiranjeevi claimed that Jagan's YSR Congress's victory in AP by-election was due to the 'sympathy factor'.

Recently, another Congress MP from Guntur, Rayapati Sambasiva Rao has attributed party's debacle and YSR Congress's landslide victory in the state by-elections to the "tears" of Vijaya Lakshmi, the wife of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister late YS Rajasekhara Reddy.

Out of 18 Assembly seats where bypolls were held earlier this month, the YSR Congress won 15, the Congress managed only 2 seats while the Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) grabbed one. The TDP drew a blank.

Bollywood success bashes are just for effect: Ajay Devgn

Ajay Devgn says that celebrations are being held for flop films too now

For your latest, Bol Bachchan, how did Ajay Devgn, the actor-producer of the film, agree to the title which is so quintessentially about another person? No insecurities here?

None at all; once you see the film you'll understand what I mean. The characters are very well defined and everyone has their place. Bol Bachchan is apt since it is about this one guy who is trying to con everyone and he keeps giving these bol bachchans. That's where it comes from. As part of the movie's team, when we were discussing the name, I agreed that it was perfect.

What kind of movies do you believe in producing?

I feel instinctively about the films I should produce, like Son of Sardar. The film has to be commercial and when I say commercial, I just don't mean masala. Even parallel cinema can be commercial. The point is to make the film run in theatres. We are not in the business of teaching art to the world. We have to entertain the audience.

Last year you'd said in an interview that you want to be a commercial hero. Since the first Golmaal (and all its sequels) Singham and now BB, Rohit Shetty and you seem to have hit upon some kind of winning formula. What is making you two click at the box office?

It's repetitive, but it's the understanding that we should make entertaining, commercial films. Both Rohit and I believe in commercial cinema. He just wants to entertain his audience and right now I am also in that mode. I'd rather do films that I don't have to worry about. I have done films like Zakhm which have won National Awards, but nobody comes with a script that great anymore.

Even an acclaimed actor like you worries about the box office success of a film?
Of course, you have to worry about the box office numbers. Otherwise, people are ready to run you down at the slightest chance. When you experiment with roles or genre; you have also to worry about its box office fate.

But doesn't your place in the top six actors of the country justify your choices (of roles) lately?
What you are calling success and wise choices comes with experience. I keep telling some of the younger kids, I wouldn't name them, that they should also attempt the kind of cinema we're doing. This cinema, which comprises out-and-out entertainers, has mostly got 1 or 1.5 stars from critics. But, it's the audience that likes these movies. You have to show your art and talent to them.

As a producer, do you feel jittery when your movies are about to release, even if they are "out-and-out" entertainers? How do you react to box office reactions?

Right now I am very happy with Bol Bachchan's hype and also with the response the poster of Son of Sardar has generated. Both films have shaped out well and I hope both are commercial successes. But, I am not hyper about the release. Someone asked Abhishek something similar recently, and he said that on Friday, when the movie releases, you wait for the opening collection, then you wait for the weekend collection, then the first week, the second week, etc, and by that time, you've lost all enthusiasm about it. I just move on after my film releases.

You don't believe in celebrating your movie's success?

I've never done that. Those bashes are more for other people. A lot of bashes are held even when a film has flopped. These are just for effect. I've heard people stand in these parties with a drink in their hand and say, 'Yaar mera toh paisa toota hai' , and yet they are celebrating.

You've had quite a busy time lately. How do you avoid getting disconnected from your friends and family?

It's most important for me to spend time with family. I've been tied up a bit these past couple of months. I don't shoot on Sundays, for instance. But when you shoot movies back-to-back, you do get disconnected from the outside world. When you go home you're preoccupied. And it's not a great thing. You have to reconnect with some people. My friends understand that. So does my family.

Presented by Fox Star Studios, Ajay Devgn Ffilms and Shree Aashtavinayak cinevision Ltd Bol Bachchan releases on July 6.

Pooja Bhatt miffed over Jism 2 'A' certificate

Pooja Bhatt seems to be upset with the Censor Board for giving an 'A' certificate to her upcoming film Jism 2, starring Sunny Leone.

'First music promo for #Jism2 has been given an 'A' certificate. And this was what one could call a truly watered down version,' the actor-director tweeted.

'So the deal is this-You can't buy spots on TV for a promo with an 'A' certificate. Which basically means you can't publicize your music!' she added.

The actress/filmmaker has now decided to release the promo on the Internet instead.

'So will I pare down the promo of #Jism2 to appease the censors? Or release it on the internet & push forward a more sanitized song on TV? Absolutely REFUSE to pare my scheduled trailer down to pander to an over cautious Censor board. Will release promo on the internet instead,' she added.

'So we've decided to throw all caution to the winds & go ahead and release our first music promo on June 29'TH as scheduled over the INTERNET. Delighted that T. Series is in absolute agreement with us with regards to NOT releasing watered down versions of #Jism2 trailers on TV!' she updated.

'We have 6 songs in #Jism2. Only 3 cater to a universal audience without losing their essence. The other 3 cannot be made to seem asexual! Hence we will only submit to the censor board & plug on TV those songs of #Jism2 what WE feel is appropriate for a family audience,' she tweeted.

Only 'asexual' songs from 'Jism 2' on TV: Pooja Bhatt

Filmmaker Pooja Bhatt has chosen to promote "Jism 2" songs with adult content through internet, "a more than worthy competitor of TV", rather than showing them on television channels.

"We have six songs in 'Jism 2'. Only three cater to a universal audience without losing their essence. The other three cannot be made to seem asexual! Hence, we will only submit to the censor board and plug on TV those songs of 'Jism 2' what WE feel is appropriate for a family audience," Pooja tweeted.

"The three 'Jism 2' songs that cater to the average thinking, discerning, passionate, ADULTS may be viewed freely and by CHOICE across the internet," she added.

The movie, a sequel to the 2003 film, features Indo-Canadian porn star Sunny Leone, with Arunoday Singh and Randeep Hooda. It is expected to be a steamy affair, and so it shouldn't be a surprise if the songs are shot in a certain way.

Pooja, daughter of filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, is glad T-Series, which owns the film's music rights, is in resonance with her decision. "Delighted that @_Tseries is in absolute agreement with us with regards to NOT releasing watered down versions of 'Jism 2' trailers on TV. This is the FIRST time a mainstream film has chosen the internet and social media as a MORE than worthy competitor to television," she added.

The actress-turned-director, who went behind the camera for the first time in 2003 for "Paap", says she is happy being different. "So THANK YOU censor board. The supposed roadblock you provided is actually a gateway to a brand new, sane and fair way forward for ALL!" Pooja wrote.

"I refuse to join the schizophrenic creed of filmmakers who peddle smut yet crave 'respectability'. You can't have your cake and eat it too! And if I do not get a 11 p.m. slot on TV for 'Jism 2', I would rather go the DTH way. Amputation of one's inherent vision is for the weak," she added.

"Jism 2" marks Sunny Leone's debut in Bollywood.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West warring over porn videos

London: Kim Kardashian is furious with her boyfriend Kanye West because he is planning to put out pornographic music videos.

The reality star famously made a sex tape with her then boyfriend Ray J, and is upset that West, 35, intends to create X-rated versions of his promos.

“Kanye wants to bring out some super-sexy versions of his future music videos for his older fans and has already met with a big pornography company,” the Daily Star quoted a source as saying.

“Kim is horrified that they will verge on porn and had a meltdown when she heard what he was planning. She wants to distance herself from her past sex tape shame and thinks this will bring it all up again.

“Kim is trying to put a block on it. She has already experienced a big public backlash over her ex-husband Kris Humphries so the last thing she wants to go through is another huge scandal,” the source added.

£105,000, the TRUE bill for Kate's clothes: But she's worth every penny, says LIZ JONES

So it’s estimated that Kate’s clothing has cost Prince Charles £35,000 just since the beginning of the year. It is a princely sum.

But Femail has delved more deeply into the Duchess of Cambridge’s wardrobe, and discovered that the ensembles she has worn over the past 12 months come in at just over £105,000.

While Prince Charles will have footed the bill for the outfits Kate wore to official functions, it is unclear who will have covered the cost of the rest, though they will include items she owned before she joined the Royal Family.
Cost: £2,065 I adore this baby pink box-pleat wool dress by London designer Emilia Wickstead. At £1,220, it is expensive, but Kate has worn it at least twice. At the Buckingham Palace garden party, she teamed it with a pastel-pink Jane Corbett hat, £500, nude LK Bennett Sledge courts, £185, and clutch, £160
Cost: £7,178 This grey Katherine Hooker coat, £795, worn over a grey silk floral print dress by Jenny Packham, £6,000, is one of my favourites. However, I¿d have added colour in the clutch and shoes. Kate wore her trusty LK Bennett courts, £185, Hobbs clutch, £99, and Whiteley hat, £99

Cost: £3,335 Kate is stunning when she goes slightly over the top, rather than narrow and severe. This Jenny Packham gown, £2,875, in emerald green was worn to the Olympic concert in February. I find the lace panel at the back deliciously daring, the hair neat and grown up. Her Jimmy Choos are £460
Cost: £3,001 The red-carpet occasion dress is where Kate really comes into her own. I love this lilac belted Alexander McQueen gown, £2,246: the full skirt and pleated bodice are a welcome change from her usual very slim silhouette. She's also wearing silver Jimmy Choo shoes, £460, and silver clutch, £295

Yet I maintain that we shouldn’t accuse Kate of unnecessary extravagance. She never accepts discounts or freebies, and nor should she.

This is the practice by which most celebrities and fashion editors manage to look so good: Kate has to remain above such bribery.

Besides, we haven’t asked Charles to sell his Aston Martin; nor should we ask William and Kate to move into a Barratt home so that Kensington Palace can be made into a dorm for the homeless.

Clothes may seem frivolous, but what Kate wears is so much more visible, and vital, than where she lives and what she drives.

She is now — like it or not — an ambassador for Britain. What she wears is not about being attainable on the High Street; it is about being breathtaking. She needs to have the ‘wow’ factor.

So to those members of the PC brigade, who presumably wear sackcloth, eat only gruel and insist Kate should not be spendthrift in a time of need, I say: ‘Poppycock!’

We need our morale raising, and our biggest industry — retail — needs boosting, especially as it is the largest employer of women in this country, and it is women who are being hardest hit by the downturn.

During the Thirties’ Depression, people turned to the cinema and the likes of Carole Lombard, dressed in liquid satin, for escapism — a hit of much-needed glamour.

Today, Kate is that superstar. Not a style-setter, but a nation-saver.

I actually wish Kate would spend more of her father-in-law’s money, and develop an intimate relationship with one or two couturiers, so all her clothes are made-to-measure, not off the peg.

I also wish she would experiment more with colour: too often, she is in dove grey.

She can afford to inject frivolity into her wardrobe, and add zing to her choice of shoes: I beg her to abandon those nude  LK Bennett ‘Sledge’ courts at once.

Above all, I’d like Kate to remember she is still a very young woman, with a fabulous figure.

She needs to abandon the Chanelesque wool coats with no shape: I see her as a new Grace Kelly, not following in the footsteps of Carla Bruni, the Queen or even Diana.

She must be her own person: a goddess and, yes, a clothes horse.

There is no better boost for the economy, or our national psyche.
