Prince William and Kate Middleton Enjoy Wimbledon Before Knighthood Festivities

Prince William and Kate Middleton gave tennis fans a thrill this week when they took in a match at Wimbledon, looking as stylish as ever.

The dashing duo, who was on hand for day nine of the renowned tennis tournament in London Wednesday, reportedly received a loud ovation from the crowd as they took their seats inside of the Royal Box.

Kate looked stunning, donning an Alexander McQueen white cable-knit dress for the occasion, while Prince William opted for a conservative navy suit.

And just a day later, the royal pair was out and about again, arriving in Edinburgh, Scotland for Prince William's Thistle Ceremony Thursday at St. Giles Cathedral, where he was installed into the historic Order of the Thistle and dubbed a Knight.

The Duke of Cambridge received the title from his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II—the highest honor she can bestow in Scotland.

While the Duke of Cambridge was suited up in traditional grab for the affair, Kate wowed in a yellow Emilia Wickstead coat dress.

The Order of the Thistle honors men and women who have held public office or contributed to the country in a significant way, according to the British Monarchy's website.
