I will work till I am 90, says Kareena Kapoor

Reigning Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor does not intend to give up her position to anyone inthe industry and insists that she will continue to work till she turns 90.

In Madhur Bhandarkar's much awaited film, Heroine Kareena will be seen as a superstar. The film chronicles thevarious phases, she goes through as an actress -- from aglamorous high life to a tragic downfall.
When asked if she fears that she will have to  make placeof other actress, Kareena said, "I haven't thought of it asyet. And obviously I wish and hope that. I think I will belike Zohra Sehgal who would be working till 90...so toughluck. I am not going to give my place to anyone."

The story of the rise and fall of an actress – there seems to be some similarity between Kareena's yet-to-be-released Heroine and Vidya Balan's hit The Dirty Picture.

On this, Kareena says, "I am not getting into anyone's shoes. I am very much comfortable in my shoes and nobody fitsinto my size. I am not going anywhere. Heroine is not a dirty film...its completely different from The Dirty Picture. It is unfair to compare the two films."

The Dirty Picture was based in 80s and this (Heroine)is a modern day story. TDP was about an item girl, Heroine is about superstar. I have taken on this film because of thescript and not to compete with anyone. I think one should stop making comparisons as it is useless," she said.

Also, Kareena is all set to rock with her latest item song – Halkat Jawani  from Heroine and she asserts that the song is not an answer to Katrina's Sheila Ki Jawani.

"No answer to anybody, don't compare it with anybody. It is mine," Kareena said.

Meanwhile, Bhandarkar was all praise for Kareena. "Kareena has done fabulous job. And I am sure and I hope she gets a national award," he said.

'Heroine is set to release on September 21, which happens to be Kareena’s birthday.
