Kate Middleton and Prince William have been sneaking off on secret romantic breaks to Anstruther in Scotland, according to reports.
Insiders sayWilliam and Kate, who have been busy on a whirlwind of official engagements in recent weeks, have fond memories of the Scottish town, after visiting it many times when they were first dating.
'They were always spending time together, going down to Anstruther (a town in Fife) to go banana boating or playing golf or going for a walk,' close friend Jules Knight recently told OK! of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's courtship at St Andrews university.Now the besotted pair love nothing more than returning to the special place when they need a quiet escape from their busy lives in London.
It's thought William and Kate, who were on top form when they visited Edinburgh last week in their Scottish guises as the Earl and Countess of Strathearn, also enjoy staying at Balmoral, the Queen's official estate in Scotland,

Monthly title Woman's Day made the controversial decision to publish the 'world exclusive' photos of Kate and William's honeymoon, taken on the beach during their trip to the Seychelles last May.
But yesterday a St. James’ Palace spokesperson said: 'The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s honeymoon was obviously a private occasion, and we would ask people to respect their privacy.'
